Nestled in its own woodland grounds at the end of an avenue of lime trees you’ll find Scalford Court Care Home. Located just outside the market town of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, our home offers spacious accommodation for 59 residents and is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Providing you with interests and inspiration for all
We actively encourage independence, aim to promote both mental and physical ability and help our residents to continue their hobbies and to introduce new ones.
Our Entertainments Organiser offers a varied programme of trips to places of interest, stimulating pastimes and entertainments such as arts and crafts, skittles, quizzes, crosswords, dominoes, films and church outings of all religions.
Relatives and friends are encouraged to take an interest in the home and its activities. While choice, individuality and dignity are of paramount importance, we also respect our residents privacy at all times.
Spacious and accessible modern accommodation
Our focus of resident-centred care encompasses every aspect of Scalford Court including the rooms and accommodation too. Special attention has been given to providing good sized rooms which are light and airy, comfortable profiling beds in every room and a home-from-home feel that our residents should expect and deserve.
The Enid Pick Wing
The original building, named after our 107 year old resident, is completely built on one floor so there are no issues with mobility for our residents or visitors so everyone will be free to join in with a wide range of activities within your new home. This Wing also has a lovely spacious conservatory and enclosed courtyards where some of our residents grow their own flowers in raised beds as well as a fantastic hair and beauty salon located on the ground floor too.
The New Goodacre Wing
Built on two floors and connected by a lift, all bedrooms are finished for comfort and have a large en-suite with a walk-in shower.
Both wings enjoy extra wide corridors, easy access to all areas including lounges, quiet rooms, dining areas and individually decorated bedrooms. All of our residents can enjoy the tranquillity of our home with views of the beautiful countryside surroundings.
Home made food for all your tastes
Our cooks prepare and cook all of your meals on site with an emphasis on fresh produce all year round offering a choice of dishes at all mealtimes.
If there are any special dietary requirements needed, we can easily cater for these too. We also celebrate with our residents on their birthday or other special memorable occasion by baking a cake to share with their visitors, family and friends (once the government guidelines allow us to do so).
